Traxxas Radio Compatibility?

I’ve got a traxxas raptor. I just put the VXL esc and motor on it. I want to upgrade to the TQI with TSM reciver. I find any info on if the box/housing needs to be upgraded as well. Anyone know if the housing/box needs to be replaced as well?

Sweet brother! Thank you for that. I noticed there is a little different lay out on the one for my slash VXL 4wd. The Raptor has been converted to the LCG chassis, and I really don’t how sharp of a turn/how close the wire entry is to the battery tray. Thinking about ether shaving down the battery tray some and/or removing that little section of the battery tray so the wires have some room.
I’ve got time to think about it; now that I know I have to get out to traxxas and use the power up program for the new reciver.
