Finally came in!

Sorry if this is the wrong section. New to this style of truck!

We learn to adapt :p I think for me its all about my mood. Some days I want to hit the track at the motorcyle park and other days run my baja 5b at the sand dunes. The crawlers however are always loaded up in the camper when we go camping.

Never thought NOT going 50mph over jumps would be fun, but its an absolute blast.

I agree, when I first started looking for an rc, I thought crawlers looked cool, but thought I would get bored quick, so I picked a Mojave. Now that I have a Crawler I'm glad I tried it, it is fun in a whole different way.

Traxxas, the 5 million dollar company won't send me a new transmitter until they look at my broken one.

So, send it, wait. Look at it, wait. Send it back, wait.

Ugh.. I got this because my EXB Mojave was down...

Looks like I'm buying a new transmitter :(

I hadn't had any issues with the diff lock switches on any of my TRX-4s, but I've never really liked them since the throttle and steering starts to get gritty (high static friction) after some use, so it's harder to modulate. I am using the FS-GT5 on my TRX-4 79 Bronco, and the RC6GS is also a decent choice (plus a lot of other Spektrum, Airtronics, Futaba, etc radios).
