Hello all, thanks for the welcome. I’m dealing with a few trx4m’s as I start this hobby and coming across issues with my transmitter. I recently purchased the small bronco that needed a steering servo. After replacing the servo it ran perfectly for about a week the it seemed to un-bind. After reset/calibrate, binding a few times the truck would only move forward and back, no steering. After a while I swapped out the servo and still no steering. I took a transmitter from another trx4m and bound it to the bronco and it functions perfectly. So I purchased a new/used transmitter TQ and again no steering. Did I just experience 2 faulty transmitters back to back? Or is there something I’m missing? Thx guys, appreciate any comments.

Welcome to RCT

I'd first unplug everything else from the receiver except the servo and see what happens, just to eliminate any power sapping possibilities from lights or accessories. If you're still having issues with 2 out of 3 transmitters, it does indeed sound like you need a new one.

Was the second TX used?

If you can, I'd take it back for a refund. If you are going to stay with Traxxas radios, I would buy a TQi transmitter to replace it. The TQi can be bound to multiple models and offers more tuning options than their base model TQ.

Jennys RC is a good source for new TQi radios at a great price.

Yes the second one was used. Will the tqi work with the same receiver?
