is it possible to bind ONE receiver to TWO transmitters? what I am wanting to do is set up all the crawlers with the same brand receivers (flysky) and TWO flysky Transmitters so I could use any of my crawlers with either Transmitter 1 OR Transmitter 2. OR...either identical TX will operate any crawler is what I would like.....anyone have a clue?

Want to grab a TX, select the model and crawl.....

If I understand your question correctly, no, it is not possible. I tried to bind two different flysky transmitters to the same vehicle and as soon as one is bound, it dumps the other.

If you figure out a way to make it work, let me know. Id sure like to be able to do this.

My myth buster side of me says try it, but I believe each transmitter has its own unique identification that's stored in a receiver and not the other way around.
Exactly correct. Its a limitation of the receiver. I did consider dual recievers and y connectors for the esc and steering servo but not sure if that would work.

I have all the wife's cars bound to one flysky and all mine to another. The problem with that is when we go out and I break all mine, then we have to take turns with hers. #realrcproblems

I don't think it's possible to run one receiver with two transmitters with modern 2.4Ghz tech, I currently run a Spektrum iXSR+ my dream transmitter i bought back in September 2025 although i used to run a Spektrum DX6C which i still have as a backup. I mostly use my iXSR+ since it's my favorite but i used to run a Futaba T4PM which was a great radio but too expensive to buy receivers for and a Radiolink RC8X but i had issues with it and Radiolink as a company that caused me to sell it and go full Spektrum. I recommend you ask some people on the forum even my buddy @DavidB1126 he had an RC8X as well and had similar issues as i did he now runs both a Flysky Noble NB4+ and a Futaba T3PV with great success so far.

I have been wanting to do the same thing. Per my research, there are two options:

TQI protocol supports multi-transmitter memory on receivers (you might need the Bluetooth module)
BUT
TQI receivers have a dodgy history with BECs and historically can only take 6v

And I’m 90% sure you can program something up in edgeTX if you have multiple radiomaster MT12s

Huge gap in the market imo

While not necessarily the most convenient way to do it, couldn’t one create a model and save it into each radio and then just rebind the receivers each time you wanted to switch?
That sounds like work! Have you ever tried to remove a reciever box cover after a 12pack? No sir!

I think so but I bet if done enough times, it would mess with the esc. As in, you'd have to calibrate them.

That was one thing i didn’t take into consideration, and you’re probably right (we won’t tell the wife 🤣).

Curious minds

I believe that is correct. These are digital radios and allow us to share frequencies. My understanding (could be wrong) is each connection uses a unique ID to filter out the signals.

This won't work without some sort of switch.

The receivers have a default state when they are powered on. The unused receiver would be stuck there and the used one would be trying to do a thing. Since they are on the same wire, they would essentially argue and the car would do weird stuff. AKA Bus Bash.

If you wanted to put a switch in there, you would need a SPDT (Single Throw Double Pole). One output with two inputs for the signal pin only. If you can find an SPDT latching push button micro switch, it would be the easiest to use, but those are not very common.

Good catch on the TQI. I forgot about that.

well, I gave up on the idea and went with a Flysky GP7+ for now......
