My servos just came in from ebay. There is a seller that sells them from hong kong, however in the Tower part in the add is erased. When they came, the labels were Tower Pro 995's. Replaced the 645mg's in my revo with ONE of these servos and it seems to be faster and it deff is stronger. Keep your eyes on these, they were 99c and 17.99 to ship. Took 2 weeks, but deff worth it.

I got these for my LST, Wouldn't fit for steering so I used them for throttle/brake & reverse. Worked good for about 15 mins. The reverse one started smoking and a solder came loose on the one for throttle/brake causing it to get stuck on full throttle. I did some research online and found similar problems. I read you have a 50/50 chance of getting a good one. They may be worth a shot but I will never buy again... and would never reccomend them for aircraft use...

just my 2 cents....

I have one as the single steering servo in my Revo. Works great thus far, and I got it used.

I've been running one in my jato for steering for over a year. Not bad for $20.

It's so strong that even with the servo saver cranked down, it will over power it if you hold the wheels and turn via the remote.

Doesn't center real well though and has a tendency to overshoot at max EPA.

Update.

The TP995 in the savage is just fine after breaking-in the mach427 and a good session of bashing. I am talking about some serious stuff here. Curbs hit, that damn rock that was hiding in the grass behind the lhs, this truck went through hell.

The TP995 in the Revo is another issue. Tunning the axial 28, it seemed fine. Truck handled amazingly good, suspension worked so great. The guy with the CEN truggy was overly impressed saying that this revo would smoke him, how true that is, i am not to judge. I take the revo home, clean it a little bit but while moving it, i notice the wheels are a little shaky. I check it out, take the servo out...............in like 30 pieces. I mean, this thing just fell apart in my hand. I got to take 1 screw out and it just....wow....gears look fine, looks like the casing just fell apart and took the motor centering shaft with it...I was so pissed because i thought i would just have to buy a casing for it...oh well...you get what you pay for.
