So the Spektrum ESC/Motor combo Horizon came out with for the SCX24's is such a total flop, that not only did they drop the price to $49.99, but now they are giving them away

I haven't seen any video reviews where they had anything good to say about it. They are very twitchy at low speed, making your little crawler actually worse than it is with the stock electronics. At least back when they came out that was what people were saying.

I did some research on this combo after asking these guys about them because I was interested in them, I have yet to see a good review of them.
Hard pass for me.

I've got a set I got in another purchase that's just been sitting in a box, brand new. Maybe one day I'll try it in something but injora brushed probably outperforms it from what I've read.

When I saw that email flyer this morning I thought it was a Furitek system just from a quick glance. I hurriedly clicked the link thinking "hell Ill buy another SCX24 just for the combo!" Once I opened the flyer and saw it was a Spektrum combo, I was like "What a freaking waste of the last 15 seconds!" and moved on....
