You can "waterproof" any of the electronics and esc's. There are videos all over the place on how to.

Sorry Beason, my mistake. :hehe:
I had bought it as the brushed version but just recently converted it to brushless using twin VXL systems, so it would remain waterproof.

Thanks Vette, I really got lucky I guess. I have seen several of the waterproofing vids, using different products.I have just been a little reluctant to try it, since this is a new truck and I didn't want to void the warranty. May give it a try anyway.

How about a crawler setup? I've got an Axial AX10 that I put a waterproof box on for my electronics and submerge it all the time with no issues. Not quite as fast as I would like but playin in the water is quite a bit of fun

Traxxas Slash is a lot of fun in the water, the brushed version is water proof, I ran mine at a out door track ths day after it rained and got it all wet and muddy, brought it in to the pit area and literally hosed it down lol , no problems at all.

Thanks again for all the help and suggestions guys.
Abadk, I will check out the slash, but I kinda' been looking at the summit too....looks like a fun little rig.
