i vote big time on the savage since its a .15 maxx.. there even older.. yea you got arms and stuff but the savage is tougher still ... if you beat the crap outa it like i do you will want the savage..

thats my savage.. everyone that comes to my bashes beat there rides like i do.. t-maxxes dont hold up.. savages do..

WOW I didn't see that yet....I guess that answers the Question on who owns Hotbodies now huh......looks an awful lot like another kickass truck on the scene lately..

Beason if your ever in FL I can show you a T-maxx that will hold up......I have bulkless setup onmine and it breaks cement planter boxes....:D

I had alot of money in my maxx (Over a grand easy) and it wasn't as tough as my Savage straight from the box. My savage was 90% aluminum too. Its not even a question on which ones tougher and more durable. Not to include faster, better customer support from HPI, and with the Revo being out, the Tmaxx is getting outdated more and more everyday.

are you challenging the Mr. T-maxx??????
Here's my observations on the 2 trucks when it comes to making thme ready to race/bash....you can get both trucks stock and the Savage will be a tougher truck....but the Maxx will handle better....neither is ready for the track because the savage won't turn and maxx won't take a hit....you can spend big bucks making the savage turn better or big bucks making the T-maxx tougher...choice is yours.....they both have weak points but if you get the one right for your driving choice you can run it pretty stock for a while before NEEDING to replace parts.....

I'll be turning my basher savage into a racer soon and will post before/after and progress pics. It's going to cost me about $200 to make it handle/steer better. Keep in mind I have over a grand wrapped up in this thing already...Will it keep up with a maxx or revo on the track? Maybe... I just want to be competetive after I shed 2-3 lbs off the chassis.

My ultimate goal is to keep up with the truggies. :devious:

well the guy i was going to trade with is a big time crook... he not from here... so i have my maxx... and i never broke anything but the stock maxx fuel tank.....
