hi all i need help deciding what truck to buy the savage or tmaxx what do you think let me know thanks!

If you're newbie like me, you will appreciate how durable savage is^^. T-MAXX is a great car, too. However, it will be phase out soon. The parts might be harder to run later on. IMHO :smoke:

Me being a Maxx guy would have to say Savage. Really, it's a toss up for me, but if your going to beat it sensless, your best bet is the savage.

I have an MGT, and I say Savage.
IMO, the Savage is a stronger truck.
MGT is pretty tough too, but for the most durable truck, I say Savage.

Savages are IMO the best MT ya can own. I've owned a Maxx and dropped a ton of dough into it, and my Savage out of the box was faster, and more durable.. Pissed me off pretty bad, but I couldnt be happier with my savage. Savage Hands down. (yeah try a search on this too, there oodles of topics like this with alot of good info.) I totally agree. I've had the t-maxx and now a savage (for the past year or so). Since I bash only, the savage is great for me. Big block power with a drivetrain that can handle it.

The t-maxx was good for what it was, but for those of us that shoot for the sky and like loads of power for general bashing, it just didn't cut it.

From what I read and download, the revo is a pretty good rig after a few upgrades like shock ends and dumping the optidrive. But it's still a small block truck and is a little sluggish off the line unless you upgrade the engine.

buy a t-maxx, then dump some big $$ in it and you got a good truck.. (basicaly replace everything traxxas)

Savage is tough but drives like a brick w/ wheels
T-maxx is fairly tough w/ a few mods but handles WAY Better...

mine has a os 15 motor and after market a-arms crowd pleezer body... sway barsand a lot of extra parts and aanother traxxas 15 motor....so witch 1 would you rather have?
