SD if you want to keep up w/ th etruggies, Good Luck.....it's more than the center of gravity being lowered...it's the driveline and the characteristics of how they distribute power to the ground....not saying it can't be done but it will be hard.....I have a T-maxx that is just out-freaking-rageous and it will kill any MT i ran it against....EXCEPT THE TRUGGIES.....so I built a truggy...now I see why they are so much better for racing....the handling is awsome and I can chase down buggies w/ it....I could never do that w/ a MT.....close but they always got me in the turns.....

Yep, I know in the back of my mind that my Savage will in all likelyhood never be able to keep up with a truggy, let alone a buggy. But for me the fun is in the challenge and learning new things along the way. In a year or two I'll probably build a truggy, but until then I'd like to see how far I can take the savage. It's my first love and you know how hard it can be to let go off those...

I feel your pain man!!

I just sent a guy money for a second hand Revo...Now what do I do with the "T"......I just can't see letting it go.....but then again, my list of Revo goodies I want to buy is around $250....even a purebred needs a few things.

Mr T

You'll have to change your name now...How can Mr. "T-MAXX" not have a T-maxx....SD I know what you mean....I ended up converting my T-maxx into a truggy.....just cause I like the idea of having full arms on a truggy instead of buggy arms w/ extenders.....there will always be something you can improve on another persons design if you set your mind to it.....just don't let it take 8 months to make it happen...LOL

It is so dang hard to let you first RC go. I just sold my first RC, which is a T-Maxx. I have no choice because I need the cash to fund my other rc project.

I've seen a savage with a center diff... just last week at a different forum.

It was pretty cool to see. Everything was lowered including the engine. I'm sure it would give a truggy a run for it's money!

yeah that would be cool....way less rotational mass......soften the shocks up and you probably could get some truggy ass.....

Man, I can't beleive I found the thread. It was at SC.

I copied his images and put them on my ftp I could share here.

I thought he did a pretty good job.

nice truck but the linkage being exposed like that would keep me from wanting to race it for sure.....

its no more exposed then the regular linkage.. but yea a guard or something would be nice

i dont like angle of the throtle linkage though
