A few thing have changed on the old yota got the lights all working bobbed the bed added some proline shocks up front

Yeah they a little big but they so good I can't not use them

Those are pretty cool. I know I'd never make one look "scale", but on occasion, I want one. Really though, I'd want something to screw around in the house with as I don't have really anywhere to run something like that and I'm not sure it would hold my attention long enough to warrant the investment.

They are cool to look at though. With all those LED's, do you actually run it at night or is that just a scaler thing you do to make it more realistic?
 
I have yet to run it at night but I plan to at some point but it's mostly for scale looks

well a lot has changed with the old yota since last time i updated this tread and for starters i left the hardbodys alone for this one and went more stock style but with performance in mind and boy does it perform

but first i slapped on a honcho body and went to the 12.3 wb for a bit

next i picked up some locked up rc goodness

1.9 gear jammer ao8 rims with there new style hubs scale hardware threw out and used the red rings i had

they are so nice

okay so this is the current state of my truck

i picked up this deadbolt body for super cheap from local guy and slapped in om

made up some quick inner fenders and painted them black then took it outside for some pics

next thing was to work on some details cuz it crawls great the way it sits

i picked up a light bar that fit the stock mounts

next i got a scalerfab bumper and mounted my winch and little light
i cut the body so i could slide the winch and bumper as far back as i could

the only thing i dont have pictures of it i took my holmes esc and puller pro out my wraith and dropped it in this truck and boy is it crazy fast and fun

dont really have more plans for this right now other then paint some stuff one day and drive it alot
I'm working on a mud truck right now mostly
water proof and brushless power its crazy

There are just soooooo many cool scale parts out now! It kind of makes building 'your' scale rig too easy!!! It's all about the money with these rigs... But they are SOOOOOO COOL!!!

Yeah, I know $250-300 an axle for SCX-10/JK rig...
