tiny yota truck

well i want to post of a little build on my new toyota build up so i can keep track on it

i plan to keep this truck for a while and keep changing it up and tuning it in for the trails we play on

i took it out today for the first time and had a great time still need some fine tuning and i really want to change the tires but first I'm gonna get the proline shocks and adjust the ride height and such

still need to do a little body work because i cracked the body a little and i wanna do a basic interior and bob the bed later on

first time test running it tons of steering angle too

than i cut off the rear shock mount and added the dinkyrc setup

cow print head liner lol

first test fit of the body on the frame

threw in my buddys camper he was working on for kicks

he did finish it and had it at the trails today (ps i built the toyota bed trailer for him its metal frame with leafs)

ill post the rest once i upload all the body picture

heres some of the pictures from body and paint
gave it comp cut doors

added in some cup holders

trying to make dents

painted it tamiya tree green liking the color alot

wanted to give it a weathered rusted look on the cab and a primer black bed
id say not to bad for a first time

letting the rain work on the rust and it help for sure

i didnt do anything to driver fender and hood got plans for them later

mounted the body with hinge

steering mod is great

few shoots outside in the sun

added the bumper it works for now

first time out on the trails

well that pretty much bring it up to date
ill post up more as i go trailing and break/fiix stuff

i like the rear suspension!! wish they made it to convert my TF2

you could easily put this kit in a trailfinder just two screws hold it on but you would have to come up with your own links

well after i got the green cab to where i liked it well i drove it off a hill and broke the roof
but i had a spare stock cab i paint it and bed with some flat tan i had
so it was all one color and brushed on some black for detail
also added a light kit

since i went to brushless in my wraith i put my old holmes brxl and 13t crawlmaster in this
which then lead to stripped tranny gears so i upgraded to axial metal gears and 32p spur and pinion
super smooth and tons of power

added a led to the winch

took it out for a trail run and had a good time truck ran real good and didnt have any problems

so a few thing I'm not happy with is not having a full interior with a full driver and how far the wheels stick out so this take us to my next phase of this tiny truck

have a transfer case on the way gonna move the tranny up front
gonna make a full but basic inside
i have a 3d printed toyota dash with servo mount for the steering wheel

also pick up some ssd axle cases

parts list for these axle are
vanquish chub and knuckles and steering link
grip fab lockers axial lockouts axial underdrive gear

rear shafts on order
still thinking on which front shafts to run

kinda at a stand still right now waiting on shipping but I'm gonna work hard over the next few weeks

well i got my rear axle shafts in the mail today so i threw the rear axle together also got in a transfer case today too

the led came from The crawl space its a hobby shop in Co. they dont have a website to buy so i got with him on rccrawlers it was cheap too

as for the yota i sold the tss chassis and skid and I'm buying a brand new stock chassis and a gcm front motor mount will help with all the trouble i was having with mounting the chassis up front and clearing all the links and what not

Got some work done on the yota

Swap to stock frame added gcm front motor mount with a eBay cheap transfer case seems to work good

Also made some little brackets for the hinge body at the rear

Got some cvds for the ssd axles tons of steering

Still have alot of work ahead of me
