From this point on, Kwong2001 will no longer be addressed by that name. For all future correspondence, he shall now be referred to as 'Nitronewbie's Bee-och!' as he is officially owned in part or as a whole by nitronewbie. Thank you.

I still like the idea of having a pull start on the car because if you manage to put the car on its lid and the turn marshell doesn't get to the car in time and it stalls you can get it started again and put it back on the track. If you can only use a starter box you are pretty much out of the race. Or at least winning the race.

mvickj - wouldnt it take just as long to have the turn marshell go get your glow starter, and dig into the body to find the pull start? seems to me it would be quicker to just bump start it, could get the starter box, the same time he got the glow starter. I have my glow starter attached to my box,

I guess it all depends. Where I race we have a mix. All turn marshells carry a glow starter just for that reason.

Actually with that car, if yo u have a pullstart and someone has to use it, it'd be all over anyhow...pullstarts are a pain in the ass with a ntc3 because of layout of the car...

even if they layout was fine, the engine probably wouldn't start easily...if at all

i agree nitronewbie's bee-och(kwong) - that is why i hated it when i had the OPS engine in mine. it had a pull start, and was almost impossible to get to with the body on. Finaly got a starter box - which then prompted me to go out and get a real engine.

yeah baldnitronewbie...i used to have to run my car A LOT and when I had the pullstart, it'd be rubbing on something and after like 2-3 days i'd have to install a new pullstart string...that was a pain in the ass

I don't like pullstart anyways cuz it seems like if you're trying to start anything with the body on, the pullstart will rub somewhere

That reminds me of a little trick. If you cut say...a Circle hole for your ps, line the lexan with fuel tubing. Just cut the tubing in half so it can be slipped onto the lexan. Ill go find a pic if i can. Hope this helps someone...

i know what u r thinkin - noisyhunterkellen - and it does work pretty well, looks like trash though, and as soon as fuel makes its way under the tubing - the glue quits working and the tubing falls off. works good sometimes, though.

Yes. CA glue hold well. Can ya stop calling me noisyhunterkellen, before I actually start supporting Kwong *gasp*. Starting to piss me off. I apologize, then I stop spamming, and this is what a get? WTF!:wtf:
