Hey Gang,

Was looking at picking up the new 1/16th scale revo but now i want a short course truck. You think the new 1/16th slash would be fun or should i go a little bigger? I heard the new associated's were good. Any thoughts?

I am for sure getting a SC10 :D

I thought about going pick one up this past afternoon, but decided to wait. I just dont know yet....

I hear they are pretty good, but I also heard they have some weak spots. I'm not sure if I'd actually go out and buy one, but if I win one in the contest here, I'd sure take it!

I love mine, and I would def buy another before I got an SC10. But you really cannot compair the 2, very different platforms.

I would like one they seem like fun, I'm just curious if it can hold up to the slash name.

as long as you don't go and top it out at 50, you'll be fine. We race on a hard clay indoor track, so running in there is like playing on concrete. so far only I, out of 5 people, have managed to break mine. so far I have destroyed a body and broke a rear toe link. for what I've done to it, it holds up just fine!

Is the stability better than the 1/10? I get my 1/10 up to like 45ish, and it just wants to flip over, or fly away.

well, on one battery it is plenty stable. on two, you can get it to do a backflip at speed, once your cruzing at about half throttle and get all that wind under the body, punch it and it will flip right over! on two batts, the thing is just silly, there's no point.

i think there good cars but its only 1:16. size down the car and next comes sizing down the jumps and then the fun factor.

video on youtube

looks pretty good to me, but i'm still favoring 1/10 scale

Don't have one yet but got to drive one the other day and it was a blast. They handle pretty good they haul a$$ and seem pretty durable, I'm definitely going to own one in the near future.

the mini slash are fun but hard to handle on dirt tracks with stock tires but i would say go with something a little bigger
