On the rental car. RIP fan. The case for it was cracked already. Fan blew out. And then the case just fell apart in my hands.
ESC mount cracked. which I tried to reglue but cracked again.
Battery slid forward and went right into the steering rack post because its only velcro-ed down.

Was coming up from the alley into the yard and we have parking strips. Well theres no grass just dirt between the 2 strips and theres like 2in of concrete from the strips sticking up. My bad, went a bit too little to the right and straight into the strip.

Does the dent in the battery ok? Cause its balancing out just fine and IRs look fine too.

It's a damaged battery. So just make damn sure you keep a very close eye on it.

If you're concerned (and you should be), you could always remove the wrap and check things more closely. They sell battery wraps on Amazon.

Yea. This is why I don't like soft case packs ugh. I mean I did 2 cycles since it's been "dented" and it's staying balanced, both voltage and IR. Battery temp is normal but I'll still keep an eye on it.

What I did is cut up a small piece of old tire foam and put it out front between the battery and that steering post.

You're probably ok then. But if it is damaged inside, it can go poof just sitting there. I have never looked inside a LiPo cell to see what is going on in there, so I'd just be worried, and toss it myself. I am always paranoid about not only burning my apartment down, but also two other homes in this building.

@DavidB1126 You call that a dent? You should be fine, just keep an eye on it for the next few charge cycles. I have had way worse crashing my planes. Some of those I did not trust, well because they looked like accordions. your dent is pretty mild and there is no puncture so I think your good.

Broke a pressure washer hose today. Bid the job low to cover a few things and most is going towards a hose. Scared tge crap out of me. Felt a tug, heard a pop as it hit the hood. Tge outer casing peeled and I was lazy. The last couple inches I pulled it and under the tire it tore the cloth layer. I can still get 2 jato parts. If i wasn't behind i was soooo close to buying the mst.

I thought about it, but the outer casing is shot and it's all the cloth hose. With the sharp objects here (rocks, broken concrete, roofing nails) I'm getting a new one and limiting it laying in the sun. I'm glad the car it hit was in a bad crash a few weeks ago. The hose is not the typical quick release. It's proprietary bs. Good unit though. Stihl rb400. $70 hose.
