@Serea71 Looks like you've got a lot of screwin' around in your future. 😜

Haha, hopefully this year I'll have better luck with the car and whatnot. I still havent even opened my transmitter from the box yet and have other stuff stored in boxes. Can't really go forward without hardware so I decided to order it today. :thumbs-up:

I hope we ALL have a better year this year. :thumbs-up:

I had the gears and the rears. It took the fronts like 6+ months to come in, grabbed them this morning. Building them today, rear went together fine.

Fronts are missing two bearings.
Drove all the way down to my LHS an hour before close only to have them give me the wrong bearings :/

Two Idaho invasive species stickers for my kayaks.
You would think being a frog and all, you wouldn't need stickers, licences and stuff. They seem to be pretty strict there. 🤔

They get us one way or another. $15 just to have two poles in the water.
Problem is I also pay for Oregon non-residence so it's spendy for me.
Another almost $200 for Oregon.

Oregon non- resident fishing - $138.00
Two pole permit - $34.00
Waterway access permit - $22.00 "can anyone explain this one"?
According to the laws, this year 2026 requires both the waterway access permit and invasive species permit.
We gettin' ripped off.
Idaho I buy a three year combo for both hunting and fishing for only $5.75 because I'm disabled.
Two pole permit $15.00
Invasive species was $14.00 and some change for two kayaks.
I have to license my personal pontoon because I use a trolling motor, $34.00 I believe.
What pisses me off is the fact that it's the same body of water on both the Idaho side
and Oregon side.

Air and oxygen usage fees (separate fee for each) and carbon dioxide waste disposal fees. 😉👍
They need to send in a crew to clean up all your dirty footprints!
Plus, you stole water from the lake! Its in your towels! 😲

Out of state parking at the beaches and some of the parks is just nuts around here!

One of my favorite reservoirs is Owyhee Reservoir in Oregon.
Overpriced camping and we can't just pull up and grab a site, strictly reserve only.
I drove up there last year and there were the campers out of 52 sites I think it is and they
wouldn't let me have a spot because I didn't have a reservation.
The fish cleaning station was out of order for 5 years and finally removed this last summer.
I'm confused as to what they use the money for? It certainly isn't for improvement.
It's a State Park also, so you would think keeping everything up and running would be priority.
They have two floating restrooms sitting on the beach that haven't been used for about 10 years.

I wouldn't bother with a non-resident license but the access to the reservoir is a lot better and more places to access than on the Idaho side.
For the folks with a disability, Oregon is much better.
Brownlee reservoir is 51 or so miles of shoreline with Idaho on one side and Oregon on the other.

Yeah, that just doesn't make sense!

'Here! Take my money!!!'

NO!!! 🤣

I see a lot of things like this going on. Upkeep is hard. Ignore is easy tho! 😉👍
Esp where funding is getting harder to find lately, keep what is working, working! Upkeep, safety, keeping these places PACKED... should be #1! 🤷‍♀️
We have a public beach that approximately 25 ppl can use. You should have seen the drama involved with doing minor upkeep and improvements.
The 'home owners' (out of state vacationers mostly) don't like public boat launch, beach that actual town residents can use and sooooooo.... drama. 🙄
