Yeah of course it has freakin’ scratches on it as soon as I take it out of the box.

One less thing you'll need to do before its considered an actual road case!!!

I did pro audio and lighting for years.
Our gear was no joke!
THOUSANDS of dollars in amps and processing!!! Wiring the things cost thousands sometimes!

We used Middle Atlantic road cases. They were absolutely awesome!!! Took EVERYTHING gorillas like us could throw at them, banging around in the backs of trucks and vans thru the craptasticly rough streets of Boston year after year!

Those cases looked rough if you saw them in the light but were fine back stage.

The important parts were those Ashly amps and Protea processors.
They looked, worked and sounded perfect for the entire time I worked there.

Buy a good road case, use it well and in good fauth that it will do its job, take scratches and dents... so your gear doesn't have to.

If its scratched and your gear isn't, its 1000% working right! 😍👍😁

I would throw it on the floor on the other side so the scratches are matching! 😎

Wellll, when you put it that way I guess it makes sense. *sigh* I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I still haven’t opened my transmitter yet and I’m paranoid to after all the problems I’ve had this year.

@Serea71 is not aloud to visit my house, he would go into shock from scratch and dent overload. I prefer to think of those flaws as well loved/used.

I dont know what’s wrong with me anymore. I don’t know if I’m just the one that always gets the imperfect items, or if they’re all like that. 🤷‍♂️

Since Covid standards seem to have lowered on a lot of things. We still have a hard time finding good materials at work. The quality slipped and the companies have said, meh, it's good enough. I think a lot of it is during Covid, too many people retired without qualified replacements.

I get it! We all have highs and lows. Sometimes its up to us to put a situation like this into perspective. Much easier to do now before a little scratch on a roadcase that was built to be scratched up turns into a big problem otherwise.

Try not to let the past bad experience have any bearing on this or the future. What happened yest is done. What might happen is only something else to worry about.

Right now, this very second is the only thing that really matters and is the ONLY thing we have the power to affect change upon.

For me, RC, 1:1 cars, 4x4's... they used to be wiped with diapers... I still have my OCD, MUST MAKE CLEAN moments where my carbon fiber HAS to reflect my ugly mug back at me too.
Mostly tho, now, I try to think about why I love the car, the RC whatever... if I love it because its the most beautiful car ever and should be on a shelf, thats were it goes.
If I love it because it runs like greased lightning travelling at the speed of sound, can beat anything else on a track, can take a licking and keep on winning mains... that thing is going on the track and I will LOVE every win, every loss as much as I loved how pretty it was when I first finished the build.

Sometimes it feels good to be the FIRST person to scratch up that new race body too! 😁😍😎

Its fun to let your hair down sometimes!
I know it might not seem like it, but you're really the only one who's watching. 😉

The wiring harness was actually junk so I completely rewired it.
That was a clone right? A guy I worked with had a Chinese clone that looked almost identical. It was a super nice guitar, and I wanted it pretty bad because it played so darn good. But he didn't want to sell it.

It's a Vietnam guitar. IYV is the name of them. I have three of them.
My favorite is my IYV PRS style guitar. It plays and sounds amazing.
I have three sets of these pickups. P90s and I love them.
IYV guitars are super cheap and you can get them on Amazon.
Good quality for as cheap as they are but I always mod them
to be awesome guitars.

Yeah, you can send that bad boy to me when you get sick of looking at it 🤩

I would love to have a PRS. One of these days I may sell everything to buy the one I want 🤣
