That's just ridiculous that you have to buy that stuff out of pocket alpine.

It's unfortunate for sure, but I do understand l. This stuff is very expensive and would be deployed pretty rarely. With over 1200 commissioned personnel in the department, it would be WELL over a million dollars to outfit everyone with external carriers. Some guys don't feel the need to even wear their issued vest these days which is sad. Like I said earlier though. It hurts the pocket quite a bit, but I feel that it is something that I really need to have, so there really was no choice in whether to get it or not.

Picked up a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 NOOK 7 today to replace a 4 or 5 year old Nook Tablet HD+ that is slowly dying. It's a smaller 7 in size, but is easier to carry just to read ebooks and the like.

New thin blue line flag to replace the one that got ruined in the storms we have been having. Ontario Knife Company RAT Model 1. I would 100% recommend this to anyone that is looking for a solid and VERY well built knife that cost under $30. New Handcuff key to replace the one that disappeared doing riot control stuff during the protests (I think a deputy that borrowed it accidentally walked off with it). New clutch plates for the wife's Shadow 750.

Cool. I have been carrying/using it for about a week now and it's still great. I can honestly say that it is also one of the sharpest knives I've ever gotten from the factory. I look forward to seeintpg your opinion on it.
