Well, other than RC's what do you waste your hard earned paychecks on?

My other favorite thing is MUSAK!

I have a stereo I built from an Aiwa home theatre. I have had the nieghbors call my house whining about how loud my music is.

I have two 300w 6.5 sub's that are ported and chambered. A Pair of 6" kickers that are dual ported with built in high frequency tweaters. On top of that I have another 180w worth of surround sound system :) It rocks, and with the volume up, the mouse will vibrate on my mousepad. :) LOL I still haven't been able to turn it to full volume, I'm afriad for my ears lol. :) My bro who used to play bass in the local area said my stereo can EASILY be used as a small theatre amp system for a band :)

I've spent well over 1200 bones into my stereo, all to hook up to my computer. :)

I have a little Aiwa thing I use with my DVD player to get the 5.1 in my house. I think I spent $300 on it. LOL

LOL Ain't no way I went cheap.. Music and Computers was my life, now it's music and RC's.

I can still hear myself think, somethings wrong. :)

Aiwa has some sweet stereo's though, you do know they are part of sony :) One of the leading stereo companies out there. They are well beyond in the sack with sony :)

I love my Aiwa, I plug the digital optical output from my dvd player in it. I can't complain about the quality, but I'm no audio guy anyway.

I like Onkyo head end equip.. Boston Acoustics, JBL and Bose are among my favorite speaker systems. Lastly, anything CD, DVD or LD I go with Pioneer (after all, they brought it to the table :) )

My other hobbies include Computers, Camping, Fishing and Guns.

Dang right Chris !:stupid:

I like Bose, just if they made a radio that could do what I want to do with it. I've learned alot about acoustics, and speaker positioning is about the most important factor to take into thought when riggin up a stereo :)

I love what I got, Pioneer is great, but I like my Aiwa :)

I have a Sony STR-DA2ES reciever.

My speakers are 4 Bose 601's, 1 Sony center channel(can't remember the specific model # offhand). I have an Infinity Alpha 1200s 12" subwoofer.

My television is a Sony KP-61HS30, 61" projection

With that, my entire house shakes when the bass hits.. :). I have been told that people prefer watching movies at my house than watching them at the theater.

I also have my computer plugged into my reciever via optical cable. Using my Soundblaster Extigy, I can get nearly full 5.1 digital sound when playing music, games, whatever on my computer.

Yes, I am a bit of a freak.. hehe.. :)

All in all, I have about $4400 in my home theater system. That doesn't count what I've done to my car either... 2- 12" kicker comp VR subs being driven by a Fosgate Power 1000bd amp(1000 watt).

Wow... I really am a freak.. damn.. :). lol

I, too, am a SONY man. My entire home entertainment system is SONY. I think I have just over 6 grand invested in that. Then there's the nearly 10 grand invested in my Mac network at home. Finally, I think I have almost 6 grand in my garage on woodworking and power tools.

RCs about 3 grand. They are at the bottom of the food chain when it comes to this toy addict's list of major expenses...but they are climbing.
=devil

I spend a lot of money on DVD's and a lil on home theater.

I also spend a lot on this site, but I wouldn't call it something stupid i waste my money on :D

no quad drivers out there huh? I thought maybe there would be some due to the fact we like loud gas burning things that you can hop-up.

I'm up there with Sky in the Sony department Home theater all Sony and Bose. Dig cam and Dig movie cam, Sony.

All my vehicles are top shelf with all the trimmings.
RCs are at the 3-$4000.00 mark Not to mention my BBQ thats well over the $1000.00 mark. I spend a lot of lettuce on my house as well

I must say I spend the most money on traveling and fishing. I make it to Asia at least once a year and to Central America once a year as well. Then there is my boat and weekly excursions to the lake and the ocean.

Being old and not having kids opens up opportunities to spend lots of money. I'm sure if I had to worry about collage and the every day expense of children I would probably see things differently.

Ed you need to come up here for salmon season I'll take you to a spot where you can catch a 45lb sea cow (thats what we call a big king salmon) 2 of my other RC buddies and I go fishing all the time.

I am only 6 months new to RC, and have a little over $1000 into it as of right now (definately more to come). Alot of my other funds go to my house on the beach (alot of maintence and upgrades). I also love computers, I have a Sony Vaio laptop and a Compaq Presario 2700 laptop. Before I got into RC I was into saltwater fish aquariums, 54 gal corner bowfront w/ 80 lbs of live rock (which I'm trying to sell now due to RC). As far as home entertainment 32in TV with Samsung DVD 5 speaker surround and 10in subwoofer. Wow too many toys and not enough time:marshall:

Mooooooove over and make some room for me.
When is the best time? late summer early fall? The Ocean byte goes wide open here about mid July.

Sorry about the hijack....

I spent a shitpot of money today, I filled the gas tank in my truck.
The price of gas here will make you :flaming:

Ed, You really like fishing dont you? I love it- Here in Hawaii, 100+fishes called ulua's come up every week. They are caught from shore too! Those damn fish put up a fight! The almost pulled my dad into the water and it was only a 60pounder. If you ever go to hawaii, Go fishing.
The gas here is also outrageous. 2.21 for Regular Gas. So unless your gas price is higher, quit bitchin:hehe:.....:jk: .
Back to the Topic, My hobbies are Diving and RC. Baseball gets some money too. To bad I dont get a Paycheck...or Allowance. Saving is my only option.
