If you decide to stay brushed, go with a Holmes 050 motor. This one is a 55t and the description says it has neodymium magnets. Comes with a 12t .3 mod pinion that is rather long so swap on your stock pinion. Same speed as the stock motor roughly, and way smoother.
The Meus pinion puller tool is $20 and worth every penny. I have a couple other cheap tools that are just ok.

You need a tool to pull the pinion?

Thats somewhat disappointing but I guess they are pretty tiny.
They are plenty tight enough not to slip. Ya gotta figure, all the stress is in the trans. The pinion has very little load on it.

Most of the time. I have only pulled off a plastic pinion without a tool. If you can get a small screwdriver underneath, it is possible to pry it off. Rumor has it though it can potentially damage the innards of a motor. If you can make something that pulls on the pinion from underneath and pushes on the shaft, that's what the tool does.
My cheap tools were about $6 on scamazon.

Nice! I saw injora I think makes them. Some online retailer was selling them. Looks like it made a huge difference. Will they work on all the models?

They look like they will. They didn't seem to want to work on the front of the Bronco, just the rear

I am going to try to put them on the rear of my Jeep and see, but I Image they will

Can't wait to get mine ( due 14th Feb🤞) in the mean time I'll be buying the materials for the folding rock crawling course 😎
I want to run it stock first before I get to modding anything tbh, don't want it to be another money pit 😂

Went with the K10 in old fashioned green as I call it, maybe I'll try weathering the body as first mod as it's free, and find a driver..!!

Flex blades are great for static flix shots. But for actual crawling, they just make the rig top heavy and floppy and nothing more.
I ran some homemade ones on my first 2 24s and they were quite capable. But I also run no springs with a droop set up.
All depends on how you tune
