That's a great idea! Maybe I should do something like that? Let us know how it goes.I got my raspberry pi... yesterday actually, but it arrived 2 days earlier than expected. Happy about that. This will be the first time playing with one of these, I'm excited.
The plan is to connect it to my HF ham radio, so I can use it as a local network and access my radio remotely from inside our house. Then, I can operate it wherever I want and not be stuck in the garage when we hit those triple digit summer temps.

I have a Kenwood 140S that I wrote software for so I could use it from a computer. I did this for my girlfriend so she could surf the bands. Her call was KC7MFJ. My ham friends and I were delighted that she earned her ticket and got that call sign. I was her Elmer. I think I've Elmered (Is that a word?) five people since 1990, no one recently though.
