alright yall it’s time I finally got it in the mail. here is the grand reveal of my new car that I won in a giveaway👀👀👀 I hope yall are as excited as I am. I already have a body and wheels picked out for it that I will order eventually, servo and gyro have been decided, i’m just debating on esc and motor at this point but I have an idea at least, I won’t be building this car for a bit since I need to get my other cars sorted first but this will be ready in the next few months

You got a drift track near you? Most prefer 13.5 or 10.5 sensored for drift cars. But sweet kit!!! I'm up for trades 😁 🙃

Straight out of Japan right there
yeah I got a popular drift spot near me actually RC Car World is my local shop and they just had big event

that’s how I won it

gonna get a 10.5 motor for it just not sure in brand yet the hw one seems to have been grenading itself

Check in with the local drifters there. I know nothing about setting them up lol. But they look real cool.

Test drove my buddies drift car a while back at the old track. It was 2wd. Pretty sure it was a MST but not sure. A bit hard to control at first but I got used to it after a while. Still a huge learning curve from driving off-road.

oh I can imagine it’s a learning curve driving the nascar was hard but it was still fun

the rookie drift, from my research it’s a great beginner kit with lots of upgrades for it
It’s Yokomo. They single-handedly brought drifting to the forefront and are the baseline to copy when it comes to making a decent drift platform. I am just surprised cause everyone nowadays is on the mst, reve and Usukani train.

my lhs suggested the mst to start with as its rtr but I ended winning this so I think it might be a better starting point at least haha

Trust me you do not have to sell me on it, you'll never see a bigger Yokomo fan than me I have 15 of their DP Drift Package chassis and that doesn't even include their other chassis like the D-max or DIB or yd-2 that I have.
