The land isn't owned by the city, it's owned by the "Bay Side". It's an investment group doing their civic new age hippy duty.
I realize I live in a state where the state motto is MINE, MINE, MINE, MINE, and MINE!!!!!!!!!!!! There's nothing more intolerant of others than a liberal!

I used to date a girl with a similar motto.

Security guards to make sure no one is having fun. Fabulous!

The Bay Side sounds like a lovely place to never visit.

Unfortunately, we live in a sue happy society. We can thank the lawyers and those looking for easy money. So, any properties that don't discourage and enforce trespassing issues is liable for any injuries that occurs on said properties.

I was being attacked by horse flies and made a break for it.

It was all good until I went down a gravel path in the woods down a hill. ATVs use this trail, it's freshly dug up constantly with fist size stones.

Here's me, big hat, camera gear on, truck in one hand, transmitter in the other booking it out of there..then it happened. I stepped on one rock, I started to fall, I stepped on another, my body tells me were going down.

Like a 6'4" tree I try to land on the edge of the trail (grass). My shoulder lands there, thankfully.

I caught a one second clip of it too. "Ugghh boofffttt" just like upright, than sideways LOL

I had to laugh because this is totally something that would happen to me.
