They are keeping him again tonight. The pacemaker manufacturer gave the ok for the MRI but the radiology staff is hesitant, not sure what they are going to decide.

I hope he's doing well and makes a complete recovery! :thumbs-up:

It's almost June...and 45 deg. And raining.

My co-worker is back and fine. Claiming a severe case of food poisoning. Never had food poisoning myself....I assume it's a myth created by folks with a weak constitution to excuse falling victim to some kind of real illness. Either way, at least he is back and doing well.

@Doom! Hope yer dad is on the mend and doing ok.
On a trip from the San Francisco bay area to Texas my mom made brownies from a mix when we spent two days in Albuquerque, New Mexico. My mom, my step dad, and my step dad's mom each had one. My half sister and I each had three. Turned out the brownie mix was years past its expiration date. My half sister and I had a severe case of food poising.

My step dad was on a schedule so he refused to stay in Albuquerque until we were feeling better, so we spent the next day or two throwing up into plastic kitchen bags in the back seat of the car.

My loving mom said something to the effect of "Well, if you two kids weren't such pigs this wouldn't have happened." That sounds cruel, but she wasn't wrong.

Sorry to laugh at that one, but the visuals in my head were hilarious, unfortunately in reality must have been horrific.

Sounds like a cut scene from National Lampoon's Vacation! 🤣

My sleeping pattern took lots of turns recently. The sun shines straight into my room at 5 AM and my curtains are too thin to stop any light, so my entire room gets really bright. And there's a canal with frogs to ensure I don't fall asleep past midnight either🫠

expiration dates are suggestion at best. Food companies enjoy the cya aspect as much as the next company....you still have time

Often time, people just assume its an expiration date when its just a suggested best by date. But, yep, its essentially manufacturers basically manipulating the consumers into buying more of their products, sooner.

In a few rare cases there are things like milk....which if it's gone sour...but not spoiled, is actually excellent for baked goods. There are even those who know that will add vinegar to the fresh milk to sour it on purpose for certain bread recipes.

It's okay. My mom had her ways. I think she was crazy, but in a fun way.
I thought they were gonna be special brownies. 🤪

My mom was crazy. The neighbors knew. A 10 year hormonal imbalance did not help her cause.

This is first world problems if they are ever to happen.. we had our backyard finished in 2024 by contractors who I know and have worked with over the years.

We had an issue with some brick on a decorative wall along with a bunch of plants that didn't make it. For one reason or another they didn't get to us last year and promised this year they would make it right.

So about 3-4 weeks ago they came and began demoing the decorative wall and install new block. We ended up rejecting the new block before it came in the yard.
A fork lift or something let go and a bunch of the pallets had impact damage.

They ended up running off a new run of stone just for us and it was delivered this past week.

They came and did it Friday. Different crew completely.

The pallets are obviously different.

Which do you think is new, which do you think is old, reject stone?

Guess what we ended up with?

It looks drastically worse than the stone they took away.

WTH! Block heads I tell ya.

Now they'll have to come back and smash it apart again. Haul it away and start over.
What are the chances they have enough good material left 🤦🏻‍♂️

I just want my yard back!

I hear ya on the asthetic....but it's a poor design to begin with....just straight up for like 2ft. You can do any crawling practice on stone that shape.

Graffiti might help. 🤔

Trying a new laundromat in the next town over.. testing my theory on a broader scale, that all attractive women are just given a washer and dryer so they never have to come near these places...

So far I am correct.
So you're theory is that a washer and dryer is included in the 'hot chick' upgrade package?

Interesting. 🤔

You may want to be careful how you ask the women at the laundry mat about that theory. 😉🤣

So far I have reason to believe this is correct. My data collection is being conducted at a time in New England where everyone here is not under 47 layers just to leave the house, and there fore at its most objective.

Side note:
No one stole my remaining pants at this location
