Yes, for multi level rentals here as well. We have a duplex rental a town over. I did hardwired on both levels and battery in the rooms.

Edit. The hardwired are on 3 levels. I forgot I did the basement also.

I'm pretty sure houses built before the code was put in place are grandfathered in. Since hardwiring for an entire existing house would be quite expensive.

Inflation, stuff getting rare and hard to find, Horizon. Horizon will always be one of the issues even if horizon never owned it lol
 
I got a trx nimh and charger from mu blast but its not as fun as max power.
