So, I've been having really intense headaches at night (usually right before bed, around 10PM EST like clock work) for about a week now. And when I say intense, I mean extremely intense. I've literally had parts of my body bolted back together, and that was child's play compared to this. It's always the left side of my head, and my left eyeball feels like someone is using the back side of it for a stress ball. It's really weird too, as I rarely get headaches usually. Have been under more stress lately overall however.

So I've done some research, and apparently they're called cluster headaches. And triggers can be; alcohol, nicotine, and processed meats.

I'm doomed! I have nicotine daily, love craft beer, and my bologna sandwiches. 😁

I have nicotine daily,

Guilty here too 😅 but a few years ago I switched to from store bought smokes to rolling my own. Didn’t take long after that to notice I was felling “better”. Doesn’t have the chemical taste either (it’s definitely more noticeable now if I do have a commercial smoke). Also way cheaper 😅 can roll a pack for under a $1.

This is assuming you talking cigarettes lol.

Sorry to hear. I've been very satisfied with their home internet. Only had one hiccup, when the 1st internet box wasn't working properly. I called their service number, was told to bring it to a nearby TMobile dealer, and that I can simply swap out for another box. I go to this store, and they say they can't do that. I called the service number back, and, apparently, got someone who actually knew what he was doing. He had me take to an actual TMobile owned store (also close by) and had things set up for an exchange. Went to that store, and had no issue. So, I've learned that its who you talk to on the point that can resolve your issues. Seems they are not well trained before they go live.
Both times, I got someone from the US. This was a couple of years ago, so things may have since changed.
I hope you get your issue resolved soon.
Over the course of this, I have called them 15 times. I have yet to find any one of their agents that isn't trying to rake me across the coals.

Get this - my account was initially setup by them with auto pay. But I had yet to input my payment information. After telling that a-hole I was going to smash their gateway with a hammer I cancelled the auto pay.

Yesterday I called back and the guy I spoke to seemed to be trying to resolve this. After putting me on hold for 10 minutes, he said they would send UPS to come pick the package up, but I would have to pay for it, then they would reimburse me. And he said it costs $20. I have had UPS come and pick up packages a number of times. It has always been less than $10. I told the guy I don't have that much in my account. So he asks for my routing number so he could put $20 in my bank account to pay for the pickup.

Doesn't that sound shady as hell? 🤔

When we moved in to this house, we went to Rect... errr Spectrum to try to get internet installed.
We get to the storenand after getting ignored for 1/2 hr, the very busy 18.1 year old kid looks up the 'account' (mind you, we aren't customers yet).
The kid tells us that there has been a fraud alert placed on the address.
Nothing whatsoever to do with us, the brand new owners of the house... 😐
Tells us that the way to fix this is for us to give them a copy of the DEED TO OUR HOUSE, COPY OF LICENSE, SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER and he will fax it off to who knows where or to who and MAYBE they will lift the fraud... 🤔

I have never wanted to punch someone so hard that I knocked god out of them before but this kid gave me a whole new reason to want to get religious!!!
HOLY SH!T!!!! 🤯🤯🤯

Needless to say, Rect.... errrr Spectrum isn't allowed at my house. Ever. 🤣

This whole cable TV debacle is really getting too me. I pay $230 a month for cable and internet. I can't watch most NHL games without "subscription " to carriers! ARGGGG!
Dude! I pay $10/month and can watch anything I want. PM me and ask me how if you're interested.

I found out simething very interesting after doing a bit of research. Spectrum will continuously raise your bill by $5 here and there. But they have a special, secret department you get connected to immediately when you mention cancelling your service. Their sales staff will act like they have you by the balls. But as soon as you say cancel to the automated answering service, you get connected to somebody who will bend over backwards for you.

I was paying $80/month for 500mbps internet. They jacked me up $5, which started this whole ordeal when I called and complained. They refused to help. I did the T-Mobile trial, which was just as fast, so I was going to keep it. I thought, well let's just see if this secret department is real. You bet your butt it is.

The automated answering guy asks why I'm calling. "Cancel service" I said. I immediately get connected to this clown that started ranting and raving at how bad the guy that got me in my current plan F'd me over. He even said he hoped he and his boss has been fired. Clearly an act, and quite funny to listen to.

Anyway... here is what I left with:
1gbps internet (double my current speed), a new 'free' modem, free unlimited phone service for a year, and the total cost dropped from $85/month for just the internet to $60/month locked in for 2 years.

I get those every once in awhile, and I never used to get headaches. Staring at my phone too much will bring it on in my case.

You guys gotta quit mentioning bologna sammiches. Now I want one again! I'm gonna go make a couple Brats.

Our neighborhood is all fiber... local internet provider is $63/month (taxes included) for 1mbps service.

Frontier cam thru about two years ago and installed their stuff, they got less than 10% of customers to switch and from what I hear, they are near impossible to contact.

Frontier is one of 3 providers claiming fiber is coming, and Frontier here sucks too. Joink and T-Mobile is the other two. Guess which one I won't be going with?

You guys have options

😅

I guess we're lucky here in the sticks.

High class sticks there 🤣

Starlink is our only option (except Hughes net which was slower then dial up 😅)

None of the 5g offerings are even an option.

We lucky to get electricity and water 🤣.

When hurricane laura came thru the att line snapped and was across our front pasture and neighbors yard, pole is in his yard. Called them, they said just wrap it up and put it by the pole or cut it at the pole and secure end to pole 🤣. It’s still like that

finally stopped being lazy and got my rc stuff out from my outdoor closet i gotta actually go through it all but i feel like i can easily sell for most everything for 1k
It's good they can finally be out in the open about it 😅

If you're looking for sympathy, first you gotta stop posting those pics of your place. :rolex:

#### these hard wired pos fire alarm/smoke detectors. Was cooking bacon on stove hash browns in the oven. Dad didnt have any kind of fan on. (Dummy) One detector sensed it, whole house lit up. Had to get a stool and unplug like 4 out of 7 detectors in order for the system to go back to normal. 🙄

Mine always go off when cooking bacon too. I usually just waive a cookie sheet at it and they usually stop promptly. 🤷‍♂️

True
Sadly for these junk ones, once they detect something they'll keep on going till you unplug them
Plus ours rarely go off unless you don't have a fan on. He only had the external/outdoor fan on, not the microwave fan on as well with that so...

One time at 3 in the morning, one of our detectors was going off and we couldn't figure which one. Apparently it was my room and a spider crawled into it. Even if we unplugged it, it was still going off. There is a internal battery on these and you have to manually switch it off, once it's switched off, you cannot install it back or use it again so that's why I don't have a detector in my room anymore. Like I need one anyways. 🤣 I actually remember that night. It was the morning after I was doing my first on my own solder job. Firstly I ran straight to the basement to check to see if I turned off everything and I did (thankfully)

Well, that's one way on how to wake yourself up on a Saturday morning 😆
