no. iv never dropped acid and therefore can't stand the Grateful Dead.

It doesn't require drugs to appreciate the artistry of Grateful Dead. The lyrics of their music was some of the most poetic words ever put to music. I wasn't a stoner and loved hippie music growing up. The Band is another awesome band.

I have seen GD live.
I have done more acid than most. Mushrooms are nice too.

I don't relate GD to acid necessarily but its nice when they meet up.

Did for me too. Then after lots of different things happened in my life it started to grow on me. Now I associate it with getting together with friends and family. Not in a concert setting but small groups......like the CSA (community supported agriculture) farm. Getting together with our friends and the kids when they where young. Have a couple drinks and have our weekly "social hour" some of those kids are old enough to enjoy a drink with us when they come around.

That is exactly what it was when I was in my early 20's. At the lake jammin to some Dead. It's funny how I can remember all the faces I hung out with there, sitting around a camp fire, but I can't remember what I ate yesterday

Its been years since I was at Louden. I saw trucks run. We had pit passes. It was an unreal experience!
