if that's all they vary, consider yourself lucky. unless you're building rockets its not a big deal.

They're axle spacer shims to space the track width of the rear tires, I think it'll be fine. Thanks for making me feel a little better about it lol.

say it with me "hold my beer". i mean, "it'll be fine" :hehe:

I've ranted about this before but here I go again.

The local waste management facilities (rubbish tips) makes it so hard and expensive to dispose of household rubbish I'm beginning to understand why people illegally or incorrectly dump or dispose of rubbish.

Don't get my wrong, I'm not going to illegally dump. I hate to see rubbish in our beautiful bushlands and beaches etc, but I now completely understand why people do.

Do the shires not understand that making it expensive and harder than it needs to be only encourages people to find an easier way?

This has my knickers in a knot.

According to his pics he's in California. You're in commiefornia.

Here lazy animals dump everywhere. I used to go to the dump 15 to 20 miles away until they added a new road msking it 6 or so miles. And it's cheap.

That's part of why there are not many places you can bash around here, everything is fenced off because scumbags dump everywhere. :(
I'm seeing that here and there. We lost a huge atv spot in 2009 because someone threw out a perfectly good white boy.

interesting dumping story. someone dumped a refrigerator next to the railroad tracks by my work. it was to close to the tracks and the train hit it. it laid there for a few weeks before i noticed it was drug about 20 feet away and was now up against the back of a building under a weed that could have identified as a tree. then one day i noticed there was a homeless person living it. that went on for about 3 months. then one day i noticed the weed had been cut down and the fridge had disappeared. few weeks later i noticed it had been moved to the access road next to the flood canal a few blocks away. it would move around on the access road and that went on for months before the city had to go in and clean up after all the homeless people. the fridge sat on the sidewalk for about a week after that. then one day just disappeared.

Went to the glass shop to get a piece of lexan cut, got it chipped on one side so I went back and they removed it but now that edge isn’t straight. I can’t catch a break with this.

Imo they should have made the new one still a truss bridge but taller and wider apart spans. Cable stayed bridge is just copy and paste bridges like there's no story or anything unique about it.

Now if they ever have the money after this rebuild they should rebuild the Bay Bridge for the Eastern shore but they'll probably never do it until it falls apart for good. They are replacing upper decks on the OG 2 lane bridge though.

Finally they are now starting the rebuild on the bridge almost a year later

I was commuting to Boston daily during the 'Big Dig' operation.
There were new, different, missing off and on ramps weekly.
That was CRAZY! I lerned how to drive thru the entire city without getting stuck in much traffic! 🤣
Hopefully they can get it built quickly and get ppl moving again. 👍

I don’t know if I’d call this a rant but just pondering I guess, when I made my pit board a few weeks ago I found out it was too big. So this time around I thought I’d try lexan instead of glass. I don’t know why but not only was it more expensive, the local glass shop completely screwed it up (I mentioned this in my last post here) I’ve seen pitboards made of actual glass so I kind of want to go back to glass again? Not sure what to do.

Nevermind the previous post, the wrap showed up today and it’s all scratched to hell. (It’s way worse in person) I get that it’s a work surface but this is ridiculous. I’ve had enough throwing money on the trash with this pitboard crap.

Just got done picking up broken glass. Was crouched down and when I stood up, I put my head through a tempered glass shelf.

Thank god I didn’t cut my head open. I was so disoriented and confused, I thought it was legos 😂
I'm glad I'm not the only giant in a smurf's house.

I've hit chandeliers, a 2x4 across a gate entry at about 6.5 feet up, and an aluminum hurricane shutter that folds up. Both of those caused blood with a hat on.. hot my head getting in the trucks a few times.

I swear I've been saying that for decades!
Thank God the whole world was designed for a person 3"s smaller than me in every direction! 🙄
I feel like an @ss every time I walk into something that everyone else seems to negotiate just fine. 🤣
I warm myself to watch out for trick walls and other inanimate objects that jump out at me on the regular.
I have style and I have grace... I leave them at home usually tho. 🤣

I only whack my head on low lying chandeliers tho. 🤣
