so someone stole something to do with with the water pressure on the building i work in. so 7 units are without water (water just trickles out at best). when i got here at 8 it worked. i washed my hands at about 10:30 and it worked. so in broad daylight someone cut the lock off the enclosure and removed what I'm assuming is a regulator of some kind and took off with it. california man, what the hell?

Brass backflow I'm assuming? Here they have puny pvc pipes holding them. I even broke one with a weedeater. 🤣🤪
heroin and/or fentanyl are more common in these here parts.
Here it comes and goes. I saw 10 plus people overdose before at the same bus stop and same time. They had a police chase here where they found 15k pressed fenty pills.

The trades are a good place to be... my 16yo grandson has found a love for welding, he takes it here in High School. I don't think he has any interest in a formal college education, but if he gets certified, he won't want for work or better wages.

trying to paint another body. airbrush not cooperating. first it was backing up and bubbling up the paint cup. then it was spitting, then clogging, then started to work when i went into paint job damage control mode, then started to clog again. spilled a cup of warm paint filled water all over the workbench.
this freaking body better come out halfway decent or I'm going to be 10 degrees past pissed.

Sounds like you need to thin your paint and check your air pressure.

air pressure should have been good. paint was to thick. thinned it out and then it wouldn't cover. i think that paint is going bad, its some probably about 7 year old Faskolor.
although the brand new bottles of Proline paint was only doing marginally better.
I'm wondering if my nozzle is to small.

Put the gun down and walk away. That's what I do. Because if I don't, there's a good chance whatever it is will be getting crushed, wadded into a ball, or thrown at something hard and finally going in the trash can. There have been a few times I did that. I sure regretted it afterwards. But it felt good at the time to get even with something 😅

oh that happened. after spilling the cup of water i spiked the body like a football and then kicked it across the garage.
gotta teach those inanimate objects who's boss so they'll cooperate in the future.

Starting to get discouraged building my SK. It *really* doesn't help when other people are pestering me to come race when the car isnt even done yet let alone still need to buy equipment. It just makes me prone to more mistakes breaking something and replacing parts.

Take your time, remember, your supposed to enjoy the process. No need to rush, if you need to step away for a bit, it's better than forcing it.

My rant for the day - I got my kid Friday for my half of his Christmas break with him. Within a few hours he starts to get a fever and a cough. That night it was a Tylenol, cold compress, and Benadryl regimen trying to keep his symptoms in check. The next day, more of the same but add vomiting into the mix. Today, he started showing signs he was getting over it. He was awake for a few hours, and just feeling worn out. Then tonight another fever. Hoping tomorrow is a better day, but I feel like crap myself now.

If any of you have ever experienced night terrors with a kid, it's some scary stuff. He had 4 of them last night. Tonight he at least seems to be sleeping well 🙏

Hope you are both feeling better soon. That is bad timing.

Yeah it is. He has had night terrors since he was a couple years old. He talks in his sleep sometimes, and if you respond to him, it sets him off.
