Maybe cut a piece of an old plastic CVD axle?? Splined piece maybe? Hopefully you find the spud spline piece.
That's a good idea. Might work in a pinch.

Good thinking, but I checked and all the axles/driveshafts and they have different splines. But I just found an old input gear. It shares the same spline. Might make it work.

Next hurdle. The spektrum servo seems to have left the chat. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Seems that I had the BEC on the MAX10sct set to 7.4v. The spektrum servo is rated 6.0 - 7.2v. I wouldn't have thought the extra 0.2volts would make much difference but it did and killed the servo.

It’s a Spektrum servo. Probably would’ve burnt up with 6v 😂

I haven't had much experience with Spektrum servos. Are they as bad as most RTR servos?

It's now got a used Arrma ADS-15m as thats what I had spare. See how long that lasts.

The s651 and s652 that come in the 3s and 6s line are pretty notorious for going out. But not terrible. I stock up on them from Jenny’s because they’re super cheap and just swap em out when they fail. Not much experience with the ADS

In my experience, the ADS-7 and 15kg servos break the plastic gears. Don't think I've ever had the electronics fail.

It’s crazy, yes that actually does make a difference. An LED rated for 5-6V can burn up instantly on 7.4V. A servo rated for 7.2V is probably not going to survive the extra .2 volts because more than likely it is not rated for a continuous 7.2 volts. Small scale electronics are sensitive, who knew 🤷🏼

Bad David, Bad! You know darned good and well you were being snarky. Sure they probably derserved it, but, doesn't mean you needed to deliver it. I really do wish people were not so lazy, and would at least try to find an answer, before trying to get others to do it for them. But still, Bad David, Bad!
