I should have stayed in bed this morning. Walked 5ft. in the door this morning and the boss proceeds to tell me about all the rush jobs I have this morning, I mean it would be nice If I could make it to my desk first.
So I get to my desk and it sounds like I left my fan on, except I haven't used it in a couple of weeks. Then I realize it's my computer. Very strange since it shouldn't have been on. So I try to shut it down since it didn't seem to be fully booted, but the power button had no effect. So I unplugged it waited a minute, and plugged it back in, the fans start screaming but nothing else boots up. The boss was in this weekend and said it wasn't doing it Saturday because he was updating softare on the workstation next to mine. So I get a new computer tomorrow and hope they can clone my old hard drive or else it will take forever to get reloaded. Fortunately most of my work is stored on the server, except for a couple of in progress graphics jobs.
Next up, my big printer at work glitched out and shut down while I was cleaning it, I had to call tech support and have them remote into it and walk me through some steps to get it running again. Another hour and a half gone. Now I missed my break, and my usual lunch hour, and I was starving. None of this was helping my "rush" jobs get done any quicker.

Needless to say, not thebest way to start thework week off.
