my gf chose the colors haha my requirement was black was on of them lol so she chose green and hot pink though it came out more red I think because of them black backing

went racing yesterday, the body does not look so nice now but it happens I guess lol, was but into a novice class with 2 other sct trucks and a mix of 1/8th buggies and 1/10th buggies, we had 2 qualifiers and 1 main I finished 5th in the main I bottled 4th after crashing a bunch in the last lap I did get better through out the day at least. the body got crushed at one point after rolling a 180 in air and landing on a pipe lol. I don’t think anything is broken on the car luckily I just need to practice rac driving on a track and air control.

hey guys long time no chat lol, just checked out the car for the first time since I raced it because i’m racing tomorrow and have just been lazy. Well I blew a shock last time so I will fix that in the morning at the track, I also lost a set screw for the anti roll bar in the same corner so luckily I have one from the other pinion gear I have but idk if it’ll fit by we will see

body is toast though I think another few race weekends and I will need a new one already lmao I think I will just do one color each time from now though lol

so after racing yesterday, still nothing broken on the car, discovered the screw in my shock that holds the piston to the shaft came loose last time but fixed it before racing.

I stayed a solid 9th the entire time in novice class lmao but it’s all good, I have decided I need another car for my track throughout the day too i’m thinking I should get a truggy because I like the bodies on those better but maybe a buggy because of the popularity is higher any one have thoughts on it?

with the winter coming though i’ll either have to take a break or find a 10th scale buggy to run but this is all so expensive lol

finally after having the package get lost and stuck in transit for a few days, I will be receiving some maintenance parts and a new body for my car

I will paint it to match the idea I have for my buggy and maybe start a theme among my cars

I have one last race coming this weekend for the outdoor off road season I might try to run it on clay this winter but we will see

Are you running the stock plastic collars for the anti-sway bars?

Just note the one we got has been discontinued for some time now. The new 2.0 is smaller then the og. I’m planning on grabbing that kit for the boy for Xmas though

The 2.0 does share most parts with your sct though I believe

yes I am I haven’t done any upgrades for the car yet but thought about switching where these collars are located to the inside

On the subject of collars. The Tekno drivers turned some heads earlier this year before the 2.2 buggy came out. They showed up with the anti-sway bar collars turned around; inducing slop/play within the bearing... or was it a bearing?

Check out the EB48 2.2 manual and you'll see we have this "deadband" bushing tuning thing to deal with nowdays...

Who comes up with this stuff?

that is so interesting that they turned them around! there has to be a better way to mount these though lol, the collars are okay but the collars are terrible, one thinking of putting them on the inside if that makes sense

got these in the mail the other day some shock maintenance stuff that I will do after my last outdoor off road race of the year on saturday. got a new center drive shaft as well as a center chassis brace just to help keep things sturdy
