fair enough I placing an amain order for it and some other screwsThe chances of destroying a high dollar aluminum wheel hex with a 35 cent steel nut is pretty high.. And if it didn’t tear up the aluminum threads, it wouldn’t stay on long anyway not being serrated..
You’ll get it faster if you order from Absolute Hobbyz from where you are..fair enough I placing an amain order for it and some other screws
oh i’ll have to check it thenYou’ll get it faster if you order from Absolute Hobbyz from where you are..
You haven't asked, but I think this might help you since this was your first kit build. I worked as a machinist for 25+ years, so I have a ton of experience with hand tools and fasteners.i’m honestly trying to think if I need anything else before I order lmao also if this happened in a thursday i’d totally be trying to pick up from absolute hobbyz
Hey, that's good to know. I'll start ordering there! Thanks for sharing. As @WickedFog said-MIP alllllll day. For hardware, I’ve used the 12.9 stuff from Tony for over 20yrs on every single one of my kits..
Couple bucks for a (20) pack, and he’s a good dude. Also in Jersey fwiw, and ships out QUICK.
This link is just for example.. Navigate around his site as you see fit..

I’ve done business with McMastercarr, Fastenal, and Grainger for years as well, but quality RC hardware just make more sense from Tony’s Screws to me personally. Again-these are grade 12.9. You’d be hard pressed to beat the quality/price anywhere else.
Wow-I just checked out the above links, and m3x12mm shcs are 3x cheaper from Tony’s.. And he’s close to you.. Either way-found you some options that are reasonably priced, in stock, and close by as far as wheel nuts, and hardware between www.AbsoluteHobbyz.com & www.Tonysscrews.com . Good luck!![]()

Very cool. I actually have a resupply list of screws I need and had put an order together from my ebay link above. Tony's is going to be a lot cheaper.I must’ve been messaging you at the same time you were replying here. Yeah man-no problem; he’s been killer to deal with..and like I say-just so happens to be close to the OP as well.
Right on man-glad to be able to help more than just one person. That’s what forums are for!Very cool. I actually have a resupply list of screws I need and had put an order together from my ebay link above. Tony's is going to be a lot cheaper.
