I decided to try both. The tarantula, seems like to be more capable and can handle bigger tires, I got the injora swamp claws for it. But also you “gotta” use a laydown servo mount. Even with this servo friendly hood it still knocks it.
I do see an improvement performance wise on both body kits plus they look really cool. I haven’t upgraded electronics but I eventually will.

Those are some nice crawlers. Traxxas TRX4M crawlers are very capable with the right amount of aftermarket parts.
