I'm reasonably sure it was written by a person who seems to have issues with this forum in general... If it's the same person, they did something similar with another post re: temp guns. If it's not the same person, I still feel no loss. Everyone is allowed to speak their minds here. All posts are opinions to some degree or another... I think it's pathetic that they would have to keep a running list to piss all over everyone else to boost an obviously maternally neglected 'angry, short man's' ego.

I have found the 'ignore user' feature to be one of my favorites on a number of different sites. I agree with that statement to the point that I have actually shut down social media accounts... I do not use ANY of them anymore. Between the drama, nitpicking and a VERY solid flow of 'the BAD news of the day' including a 'BAD week in review', I just couldn't take it any more!!! For the folks I want to talk with, stay in touch with, etc... We have phone numbers, texts and as crazy as this sounds... I ACTUALLY visit these people... In REAL LIFE! (like humans used to do!) As far as the rest go, which turned out to be about 99.9% , if they don't have my number, there's a good reason for this!!!

We've had issues with him before, We know who he his. I'm sure he has some good information- yet he's incapable of turning that information into a polite and actually helpful post without making him sound arrogant and full of himself.

@ninnon Yes, it's unfortunate really. I believe whole heartedly that EVERYONE has a right to voice their opinions and concerns here. I just have BIG issues with ANYONE who finds it necessary to be HERE and dump all over everyone else.
I don't know how all this started but having read past posts and some of the things that were said almost has me curious as to WHY??? Why would he attack ppl here who are actually quite intelligent and extremely talented? If this person is so very hurt by or is so very upset with so many ppl here, why hasn't he simply... MOVED ON??? I hope he is able to find someone to give him a hug or a piece of candy and a 'ride' in their van or whatever he needs to do to complete his sad little existence.

I ran across other people like that as well on other forums ,those people live & breath rc an are usually very
active in the racing scene!
I got into it with one on another forum ,he was very intelligent on nitro engines ,but what P-ed me off ,
was that they were running down other forums that were just trying to help people.

Exactly! Even if someone says something (trying to HELP the original poster) that is 100% wrong and I KNOW it's wrong... I will leave exmples and links where the 'helpful and incorrect reply poster' as well as the original poster can read and understand what was wrong and why... What I don't leave is a NASTY attack on someone who was just trying to HELP or any comments trying to belittle them! Absolutely NO need for that! PLUS I'm the future, that person may be reluctant to help the next person and they have the answer, methods etc all right on the tips of their tongues (or finger tips???)
We have a good community here. I won't tolerate ANYONE with desire to destroy or even anyone who chooses to ignore that in exchange for pumping their own ego.

He finds new ways to hack into this forum, but he's now been removed 6 or 7 times. I knew it was him when he came back a few weeks ago and I knew it would just be a post or two before he was removed again. I just deleted his post because I don't want even a thought of his to remain on this forum. He has a blog where he curses me out and badmouths RCNT and continues to post his BS. If WE try to help a newbie get a tune while breaking in an engine, HE will come on with all his "EXPERT" BS on tuning for racing. WE are the stupid ones in every case. He's an arrogant ass, but he must really think highly of us since he keeps trying to get back.

Tyeah, it's pretty easy to pick him out of the crowd. He's an arrogant prik to say the least. I'm pretty sure the only thing I did (other than put him in ignore) was to back up someone who was posting to help another member... (funny, but I actually encourage ppl to try and help each other!)

I dont understand the great mystery around 30% fuel. I doubt the amount of retuning for it is much more than if you changed brands of 20% fuel. Most of my cars have only been run on 30%. I run HPI 3.0 and 4.6, Traxxas TRX 3.3, Mach .28, Losi 427, LRP .28 and .32 and Kyosho KE25 engines on it. I ran 30% 8% oil in the big blocks but when I got some smaller engins I went to 30% 10% oil. It has worked well. Easy reliable starts and tunes take a lot of the headaches out of this hobby. I have a temp gun but I admit I never use it anymore. Being an old guy with thick skin I temp my engines by touch. I also admit I dont tune the cars for maximum power instead going for longevity.

For some Idea of what to expect my Traxxas Slayer stated in the manual to run 30% fuel open the HSN 1/4 turn from stock on break in. I did and everything went fine. I expect this applies to all engines. You will have to open the needles. If you have a new engine you may have to open them farther than the factory setting and my only sugestion is dont get hung up on the stock needles settings being a safe rich tune anymore.

I think that is why most people get heat issues with 30%.

Most of us tune for performance with longevity, just like you, @WVNed, but even in a thread helping a newbie get his engine broken in, the removed poster will insist on his magical RACING tune by ear. As I stated before, I don't use 30% so my info or assistance is based on friends rigs, a ton of reading etc... Anything I post is based on info gathered from engine manufacturers, not from something I read in a Yahoo QnA. (cuz you KNOW if it's on the internet, it HAS to be true!!! )
As for my own, I do the same time for longevity as well as performance. We all do things differently. I CERTAINLY do not claim to know best. What really got me was how insistent he was on shutting down ANYONE else's opinions. I think we are all here to help and to learn. If someone posts something totally wrong, others will catch it and NOT tear their heads off for making a mistake.
Whatever that guy's issues are, he seems like a VERY petty and confused individual. If he is SOOOOOOO good, why not just open a shop and make millions and leave this place 'full of morons and the like' alone??? Sad little man with a really big mouth!
