Well I think I'm going to grab a Revo, I drove one today and it was lots of fun, This one had a OS .18TM in it but still, I'm sure the stock engine will be great also and eventually ill upgrade to the OS.

:tank:

Depends, get the 3.3, it's pretty comparable to the OS18TM. Probably not as easy to tune, but the power is about the same.

Save up for an after market pipe as well. The stock pipe sucks for the 3.3 or the TM.

It's really a Ford (revo) vs Savage (chevy) debate. Personally, I like my Savage. But, I've been curious about the Revo, since people who have them like them.

Not really...they are two different approaches to the monster truck. I am opposite of you, I love my Revos (down to 3 now) but I am "Savage curious"

Anyway I think JetMech said it right. Race and or bash get a Revo......just bash get a Savage.

The only issue I've ever really had with my savage was the slipper coming loose. I put the second washer on, as detailed in the users gallery (and in the Savage forum as "Slipper coming loose, the fix"), and haven't had a single problem with it since.

I also had an issue with the brakes when I upgraded to the duals, but I put some o-rings on the drive cup to hold the discs in-line, and haven't had the issue with the discs getting "slanted" and binding since.
