I just got a dynamite mach2 .19t motor for my traxxas t maxx and looking at it i don't have anywhere to set up the slide carb so I need to get a rottery carb any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

If your MAXX is so old that it’s got rotary linkage-your best bet imo, is to just source the linkage for the far more up to date slide carb setup. That would make your truck craaaaazy old though, as they’ve come slide for literally decades now. My initial post was because I figured yours wasn’t likely over 20yrs old, and that LOTS of engines are boxed up with the carb backward for 50% of the vehicles they end up going in.

I'm think it's really old cause there's no place to mount the hardware for the slide carb and taking you advice i flip the carb around and there's no room between the fuel tank and the flywheel

Well dang man… Gonna be impossible to find a Mach 2 with a rotary, and like finding hen’s teeth to come up with an older TRX engine that’s not wiped out. You may do some homework, and try to find a rotary carb that will work on the Dynamite. Who knows if the needles will run the Mach 2 though..

Yeah I looked on YouTube and found an exhaust upgrade but so far nothing on a carb but I'm up for the challenge lol

Can you post pics? There's been tmaxxs running thst motor before. Also if you got short arms, you may want to get the chassis arms, linkages, and drive shafts. The narrow arms are out of production.

The Mach.2 is made by Sh. Engines and I'm 99% sure has a 10mm carb neck, using their "standard" small block carb, just anodized black.

just about any small block carb should work, you could try the one from a VX.18, though personally I like the Sh.18 rotary carb the most, they're hard to come by. I have a used engine sitting on the shelf that I could pull one from if you're interested in trying it.
