Stripping every single screw or thread - WHAT am i doing wrong

Marine grade SS is normally 316. Pretty strong, stronger than 303/304, not as strong as 12.9 screws.

I expected it would be softer. I learned a new thing today!

I always seem to have 2 or 3 screws on every car I buy to strip out when I go to doing upgrades or work on them. IMO it’s worth spending the money on a good quality set of hex drivers

I use monsterbolts.com. They have really good black oxide screws, and they're pretty cheap to boot. Check them out Baker.

Titanium isn't that hard to bend tho.
Monsterbolts.com has been 110% on 2 decent sized oreder so far. I will be buying more them too.

If it's proper titanium, it doesn't bend at all. It's a spring.

a little bit update.
given to your advices i've ordered a set of MIP's (for my case it just 2.0 and 2.5)
this weekend i took apart entire chassis (SSTE), did all the shimming and filling diffs and build it back.
report : 0(!!!) screw heads were tripped off.
As a conclusion i think the issue was in my hex drivers. it definitely worth to invest a little bit of money in good drivers.
Thank you ALL for advices

(P.S. next stage is to replace all the screw with 12.9, but i will do this little by little during maintenance)

I have a case of rcscrewz for my mini b. As it was the best hardware kit for the price. If I had the money I'd go with klinik titanium kit but that's like 75 bucks.
I have a cheap Amazon hardware kit for the rest of my cars and they work alright. Not the best tho. I will check out that monster bolts that @WickedFog said

It depends. There are different grades, and different hardnesses. Aircraft grade titanium - I machined a boatload of parts out of it. First process was to machine a bar down to about 1/8" thick. A couple bars warped and I tried to flatten them back out before the final process. I tried bending them in the press. I was surprised how far I could bend it and it sprang right back into shape.

I also made a lot of titanium vape coils. I had numerous rolls of Ti. Some was really springy, and some was soft as lead. It just depends on how it was made.

For what we do with it, if it bends, it's garbage Ti. Not the good stuff.

To be honest ,out of all these years ,I never bought any batch of screws ,I been using screws off of
used RC's that I accumulated over the years ,the screws that I bought here recently was the stainless
steel screws for the bead locks for my 5th scale Baja! When I stripped down my Kyo ,I heated the
whole chassy with the heat gun to break loose the screws ,people whith plastic chassy can use a
soldering iron on the head of the screw!

Just a heads up about my earlier stirring the pot stainless steel post... that link/picture for RCScrewz was just to point out a said strength of stainless steel vs "other stuff". I can see stainless steel having its place in the hobby though.

I've been using/buying stuff from Monster Bolts for about as long as they have been on eBay. It's the first place I looked for any of my Team Associated "4 series" platforms SAE hardware needs.

I really didn't have a need, or desire to buy metric hardware in bulk until I found myself with an Arrma RC platform with stupid soft hardware. I have a few sets of black oxide/12.9 grade alloy steel hardware from DYWISHKEY, iExcell, and HanTof brands that haven't let me down yet.

Marketing propaganda at it's finest, even the highest grades of stainless steel, which RCScrewz does not use, is softer than 10.9 grade hardware.

I would never use RCScrewz on a basher. If you are bending or breaking the stock screws the RcScrewz are going to be much worse.
