Steering servo probs

Stop!
Did you center the servo before you put everything together? If not, pull the servo arm off, turn on the radio and center the servo. Then assemble.
If thats not it, verify you plugged the servo in correctly. The correct orientation and in the right slot on the receiver.

Signal wire always goes to the inside of the receiver. Of course, there is always the exception to that rule with some of the "antenna-less" ones that are out there and which way a person considers the inside.

Receiver input channels... One to turn (servo), Two to burn (ESC).

Maybe you bumped the dual/steering rate knob by accident.
