I just got a used Traxxas slayer 3.3. The glow plug wire was off & I can't seem to get it on there right. It will turn over but hasn't shown any signs of starting up. Will just give a little brrrrrm. It has easy start. I tried a manual glow plug warmer but I don't really know how to use it so I'm not sure if that worked or not. Trying two batteries in the starter. Any advice would be appreciated. I can get the spring on the glow plug but it doesn't seem like its getting a good fit on there. If you barely touch the wire it'll pull off.

The ez start gets a little warm while trying to start it. It will act like its about to turn over will a couple times then just stops trying. If you pull ez start out put it back in push button you get a little brrm.

I finally got it to fire up....once....Then it just died waiting on battery to get another charge and try it again...any tips be helpful....

Try the manual glow igniter. Just pull up the spring lever and push it down on the plug then release. The spring should squeeze the tip to hold it on. Once the engine is running you can remove it.

Tried that but still wont fire up again. The remote says its good. I tried jumping the ez start straight to the battery with manual glow plug on still wouldn't fire up.

Will parts from slayer pro fit the slayer?

I did find a bad wire when I took off the wires to the ez start. I'll have to replace that tomorrow. Don't have the connector will have to get it tomorrow.

Its firing up now just wont start. Put hand over muffler has plenty of compression. Looked at the hoses no fuel moving. What to do?

She just isn't wanting to start up for me I guess. It's turning over but won't start. The motor light is on on the ez start wand.
