Was trying to start my rc last night and broke the pull string. Messed with it for a couple hours trying to rewind it, but couldnt get it to do it correctly. My question is is there any other methods to intall other than the pull start? Rc is hobao hyper 7tq w/.28 Mac star. Checked hobaowarehouse.com for a new pull start, but they dont have one in stock. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

You could install a rotostart system or go with a bumpbox system.

If you want to find a replacement pullstart I would check out www.nitrohouse.com they carry more OFNA and Hobao parts than anyone.

If you rule out rotostart, it would just make more sense to order several pull starts and have 3 or 4 in stock with you. It would be more trouble to rewind it, and a pain as well. As soon as that string snaps, that pull start is done for.

thanks guys. Is the bump start the starting box? And is the rotary the one with the hand held electric starter? If the rotary starter is what I'm thinking it is then id rather go with it. Thanks again
