I always thought you were supposed to adjust the HSN first?

An extra bit of knowledge to add to my squishy blob of nerves.

Well you've got a hell of a crew chief and a huge support team that doesn't really know what we're doin, but we're here for support, that's why you have the good crew chief. I think you just need to get a baja 5b buggy so you don't have to worry about those dam needles any more. I know what you mean about getting it all ready and the rain storm coming. Today, I worked on my T-Maxx all afternoon doing different things to it and cleaning it and changing spur gear, stuff like that, got all my batteries charged up. Well finally it was time to go run the darn thing, and I discovered I accidentally left my EZ Start wand in the yard cuz I freaked out when I shredded the spur gear. So it got rained on, shorted out, and caught on fire, haha. Anyway, got all dressed up with nowhere to go kinda thing. I'm gonna pick up an easy start in the morning and maybe my 3PK system, we'll see.

Well I asked for the spur gear incident, I was jumping the truck and had a bad landing. I could have gone and got the Easy Start yesterday btu I decided to just wait till today since the truck is ready to go and I'll have it for teh weekend weather permitting.

good luck man, I really hope things go well. Wish I could wrench on these machines instead of going to work today :depress:

Haha. Lucky you, at least you CAN run yours. Traxxas currently is in possession of my engine :( But hopefully I'll be receiving a new 3.3 within the week! :D I'm so happy, that old one gave me so much crap.

ok people i am up and running. i had a bad clutch spring that was cause of my problem. i also bought some goodies for myself. a nice set of hex tools, some 30mm foam tires, a HPI temp gun, a better air filter, fuel filter and some chrome wheels and a few extra things i forget. but i am totally up and running so today or tomorrow I'm going to start tuning again so ill prob start a new thread if i have any problems. thanks again everyone for there support with a newbie!
