i keep having the same problem over and over again. i get it started. 5-10 sec later it stalls. been doing this for over an hour. someone PLEASE help :surrender

ok, thats what mine does too and it ran ok today. I would imagine that your idle screw needs an adjustment, a VERY small adjustment. turn it clockwise about as much as the slot is wide.. try that and see what happens.

When it's idling you shouldn't get more than a mist coming out of the exhaust. If you're spitting drops try leaning it till it keeps running.

Since that seems to be the case I must be a little rich on the bottom end as well. I have a slight spit at idle too.

your talking about adjust the LSN or the idle when its spitting. like i said before its not alot but it def is spitting

The LSN, but usually any adjustment on the LSN also needs a tweak on the idle screw also. When you're adjusting the LSN, you can use the trim knob on your radio to correct the idle. when the LSN is set right, adjust your idle screw and return the trim to zero.

is there any chance that i might have an air leak? this did start happening after i had a nasty roll over

If you would have an air leak...your engine would be overeating. Do you check your engine temp once in awile, I'm pretty sure you just have to adjust your needles. Hope that helps.:)

i can't really get my engine to start at stay started unless i richen it up ALOT thats why i thought i might have an air leak

are you running hot?after your big wreck did you check everything good for cracks, fuel line is good?

there was nothing i noticed. but after i wrecked it never ran right. so i figured that if i put it back to a setting where it was at least running. it would be good and easy to start. i get neither. thats why i was thinking it could be something else other than a tuning issue. like an air leak

it wouldnt make it have starting problems?

ok i check the cooling head where it meets the engine. and I'm still getting fuel in between them. i took of the cooling head again and there was gas in between the two. is that bad?

is there a gasket between the 2?and when you put it on did you tighten in a cross pattern "i think thats what you call it"?are the bolts bent or the cooling head bent

yes, yes and no. everything checks out fine except for the thin layer of fuel i get between the head and cooler. outside of where the shim is. i took it apart and tightened it back. can't get it started again to see if its doing the same

man i dont know what to tell you maybe some of the other guys might have some thoughts.let us know what happens
