It's a 12v DC charger. You can get a 120v AC -> 12v DC adapter at Walmart or Radioshack. It just plugs in the wall and has a hole for a car plug in it.

The alligator clips are so that you can hook it up to a car battery or power supply. The cigarette lighter is just that, to plug into a cig lighter outlet, but the alligator clips are to put on the battery or power supply terminals, just like a set of jumper cables or a battey charger on a car or boat.

Yeah, I think you'll need a DC to AC Adapter.

Actually he'll need an AC to DC adapter..or more commonly called a DC power supply....boy we're just ganging up on poor coby today huh......

If you get the Radio Hack or Wal-fart ones make sure they put out at least 8 amps or you can do a number on your packs.....
