I took the Asuga out for a bash at the local new housing construction site. She is SUCH a beast. She flies so nicely and just absorbs the bumps and glides over the ruts. She is a graceful brute, especially with those Sketer wheels/tires, which helped her pick up about a pound of mud, LOL.

All the stars aligned tonight and we finally got a good father/son bash in tonight (literally 😂)

Notice the tmaxx sitting funny, busted the caps of the shocks, f it, send it 😂

I ran the not a WPL not a Jeep Cherokee today, the detail on this thing is pretty good, and having the battery under the hood is a nice touch.

I also tried to run my Tamiya TA02 only for the ball diff to crap out...I think I'm done with Tamiya for now. This is just annoying.

Nope, it's an MN78, MN is basically an off-shoot of WPL RC that happens to share parts compatibility. They're basically motorized models, that don't cost much more than a good model.
I've seen their stuff online. I do like that Cherokee body. I may have to look into getting one if the price are still low on this brand.

It is a nice body, the doors, hood, and hatch open up. I'd reccomend to keep upgrades simple though and just run it as a trail truck or an indoor crawler.

Tonight was awesome! 😂 best bash session me and my boy have had yet! @WickedFog warned me and I’m prepared 😂 patched the tmaxx back together to make it work with what I had. It was worth it even if it costs me a couple shocks😁

They also have nitride titanium coated shock shafts. Traxxas snd strc make aluminum shock caps.

I just built strc shock bodies with the nitride shock shafts with trx internals and caps.

So I’ll share 😂 wicked has been awesome and very patient with a newbie like me (not that others wouldn’t but I picked him out 😂) we blew the caps off last night on the left rear corner, I don’t have any shock oil on hand yet, needed something to pick that corner up…

Easiest thing I could come up with in a rush after work to enjoy the weather 🤣🤣🤣. We going to NOLA this weekend and son n I gonna hit up a rc shop on the way (none close here) and I’ll get new ones if they got em and probably more 😂

In my scx10ii I use 3 in one oil to give it a realistic look and feel.

Stihl has some quality oil. I have atleast 20 different hand helds I use nothing but thier silver oil in, except the occasional true fuel. All my old motorized bicycles I ran it also.

That’s actually bar oil they send with the cordless limb saw, it’s pretty thin stuff, not like real bar oil. It worked out good at least for today 😂

Got 3rd again, but more importantly the car is handling the best it ever has. I can enter and exit the corner really good and the car is so much more consistent, just need to work on my driving a bit lol. Of course the car got a new scratch on the roof somehow. Trying all my best to not go all OCD about it, but I had a fun time. It might be time to replace the tires.

I wish somewhere in my area would race those

They're surprisingly really sensitive to changes and a bit of a challenge but they're a lot of fun. I just need to get over my OCD with body scratches. (it's hard lol)
Keep a body ahead. After the race put the clean one on till the next race. After the race one gets beat up put the clean one on and replace it with another new one. 🫠🙃
