Still waiting on my axle tubes and case Its been 8 days since I paid so I hoped they would be shipping this week but I emailed them last night and they said they wont ship out till next week....arghhhh.

It's RC4WD what do you expect? It took me a week and a half to get a pinion I had to pay 9 dollars shipping on. The pinion was only 7 bucks.

I got my pinions fast but....lol. They say it take 5-8 days to ship but this will be like 16 days if they actually ship next monday (I'm hoping thats what next week means).

Well I was board this morning so I decided to make some new lowers out of black instead of natural delrin....I also dyed my uppers, steering and battery plate fuchsia....lol

I'm in the middle of saving up for one of the new Holmes esc's since their small and 4s outta the box BUT I've been reading that their "6v 5 amp" internal bec isnt cutting it for the real high torque servo's, wich I run a 8711 (403 oz) so I'm gonna have to run an external but thats fine, then I will prolly switch to 4s around the same time....Wich will be the shiz.

Well I didnt want to switch to a hh esc after all after reading that the internal 5amp bec's arent cutting it for really high torque servos, so Ima stick with my Mamba.

Decided to clean up my wiring a bit and move some stuff around. I moved my esc to the rear lowers, and added a 4S 1000mah pack to the front uppers.

Cool but I did not know that you could run a 4 cell lipo on a Mamba Max ESC, that thing is gonna have some serious wheel speed.

Holy crap dude 4S! I also though MM was only good for 3s...

Nope, the MM will do 4s, you just have to be running a BEC, wich of course I am and just watch the temps on it, after 10 minutes it wasn't even warm so for now and external fan isnt gonna be needed.

Well, ran a full pack, lasted about 30 minutes and my mamba didnt even get warm so I'm good to go!

Thanks Grumpy. I make my own links out of Delrin, those were white Delrin that I dyed.
