Hey guys,

Well I was cruising www.hobbypeople.net and ran acrossed an XTM sliding clutch kit for the mammoth. Well I know it will work for my savage but anyone running a sliding clutch setup and can ya tell me how it works out for you?? Advantages disadvantages. I have recently made a change to a three shoe setup for my savage and it tends to act like it has a RPM stall converter on it for an automatic transmission. I like to be able to give it a little RPM and have it move a little. Right now mine tends to really spool up than launch. Later

You can adjust that out with spring tension and lightening the clutch shoes ... You dont HAVE to use the sliding clutch.

Well with the price of clutch springs I was just thinking about getting one of these. I mean it honestly comes with everything needed for just $20.00 I understand that Fiorni makes a nice sliding clutch but I have no clue as to where to pick up fiorni parts.

Dude please do let me know how you come out on this. It's pricey on the initial purchase but if it's durable and there is a noticable difference I'm in for the purchase. I have heard good things about them but never talked with anyone with real world expereince.
