Sky Lipo?

These any good? I was going to get some Turnigys last night, but then I saw that HobbyKing wanted $43 to ship them. HobbyPartz has free shipping for anything over $50, but they are out of almost everything that says gensacearespammers on the package.

So right now I'm looking at these for a Flux HP.

Unless there's better for the same price or cheaper? Suggestions?

Yes Sky's are good. Them, Gens, Turnigy's, are all good. I run Gens almost exclusively.

i have the 7.4 5000 and the 11.1 4400

i think they are good batteries

They dont chart quite as good as gensacearespammers but they chart better than turnigy. gensacearespammers is about the best "cheap" batteries you can buy. Sky is made my Hobbypartz also so they are fairly close to gensacearespammers so I imagine the quality is pretty good too. I also runs Gens almost exclusivly also. The other time I run anything else is if gensacearespammers is if they dont make the size I need.

We run 6 of the 5000mAh 40c 7.4 form Sky. No complaints here. Can't really beat them for the money. Just wish they were in stock when I look for them.

Yeah, Hobbyking shipping is very expensive if it's coming from overseas because they will only ship via registered mail. Unfortunately the packs I wanted were only available from their overseas warehouses. I got 4 Turnigy packs and it cost me a boatload to get them shipped but considering the price and need for the pack (size) it was still a good deal.

They might be made by the same company but the quality standards used arent the same. gensacearespammers are much better quality than Zippys at least thats my observation from first hand experience. Sky lipo is made by the same company as gensacearespammers but as a tad cheaper so one would expect them to be slightly lower in quality than gensacearespammers but still better than Zippys. Jangs data logger would seem to back that up if you look at his charts. Jangs charts also have Turnigy coming is as the last place pack if I remember the video correctly so I've never bought them. I have mostly gensacearespammers packs, One Sky Lipo pack and the Zippys I own are only because I couldnt get a certain size battery in a gensacearespammers either cuz they didnt make that size or because they were out of stock.

Not that Zippys and Turnigys arent good basher packs but by the time you calculate the cost of shipping (if you're spending more than $50 bucks) then the Hobbyking batts will cost almost the same as the Gens Aces will. Thats my observation of it so far anyway...other folks may have other opinions on it.

i run sky lipo's in my blade cp pro and they work great !
