Silicone oil cutting.

What are yall using to cut silicone oil with? I've tride, mineral spirits and brake cleaner. Neither seemed to have much effect on removing it.

Silicone has different viscocities. I usually cut it with another weight....

If its cleaning silicone residue I uae dish soap.

For cleaning, 500k in my center diff takes for ever to drain out. Looking to speed the process up

I just take the guts out of the diff and scoop the diff oil out with qtips and then clean it up with simple green

Just make sure to put o-rings to the side if using chemicals like motor spray, brake cleaner, etc. etc. etc.
