You guys kill me with your cool ass dogs and cats. Guy down the way a bit from me has a cool Jack Russell. The dog is a ball of lightning while chasing a ball or chew toy thrown through the air.

Louie is 13 nearly 14. In his prime he astonished me at his physical ability. I've seen him catch & kill chipmunks & squirrels. Very agile. He could jump 3 feet off the ground in a run. Chase balls or sticks, etc. His back legs have arthritis some & takes a glucosamine tab & it helps. Schnauzers are a mix of Jack Russell, Wirefox terrier, & poodle. Louie is a mix of a standard Schnauzer & a miniature Schnauzer. He's 20lbs. About 4 lbs more than most minis. Love this dog.

I never liked small dogs as a kid. But I was raised on Shepherds and Huskies. But I love the little dogs these days.

Same here. Grew up on a farm with big dogs. Cattle dogs. Bulldogs, etc. It's fun taking Louie for a car ride. Loves the wind in his beard. We took him to the beach a few times with us. That was a fun time!

Same. We had a German shorthaired pointer and Border Collies on the farm. I wouldn't have large dogs at our current house. It's too small for a big dog.

Yeah, my Husky was like a lone wolf. He ran the entire neighborhood. No way I could keep him chained up. And he hated coming in the house on the 2 occasions we did manage to get him to come in. As soon as the door shut, he was ready to go. He needed his freedom and lots of space to roam.

It’s so funny, it will follow the kids around like a dog it’s still separated from the others because the chickens and guinneas will kill it.

Dude... that is the coolest looking duck, and that is the perfect name for him!
